ANA Post-Award Training

ANA Eastern Region is hosting an ANA Post-Award Training December 2 – 4, 2008 at the Washington Plaza Hotel in Washington, D.C. Registration is now closed for this training.

A second Post Award training will be held January 6 – 8, 2009 for those unable to attend the December training. We will be posting more information on this training and on-line registration within the next few days.

ANA Pre-Application Trainings

ANA Eastern Region offers free training and technical assistance workshops to Tribes and eligible Native non-profit organizations in Region I beginning in January and running through February. There is a limit of 2 employees per eligible organization and 3 employees per Tribe. Although there is no registration fee for the trainings, attendees are responsible for all of their own travel and per diem costs. Early registration is recommended because trainings are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment. Please do not make travel arrangements until you receive confirmation from us.

Independent grant writers must fax us a signed letter on organization stationary to (571) 323-2101 prior to the training in order to attend.

The FY 2009 Pre-Application Training Schedule is listed below. Of the 7 trainings being offered, 5 are general trainings covering all of the ANA program areas. We will be holding two program specific trainings this year: one on Language Preservation and Maintenance and the other on the Family Preservation program area. While the focus of these trainings will be on developing projects to address these two program areas, you may still attend these trainings if you are developing projects in the other program areas.
